Find out what matters most to them
The concern that opens a conversation may not be the homeowner's biggest question. Listen closely and ask what they most want to understand before moving ahead.
Bring your experience. Make a difference.
Bring your island community knowledge and a thoughtful approach to homeowner conversations.
Some of the best sales conversations start with a simple question: “What happened?” At Solar Exit Hawaii, we want people who can ask that question, understand the answer and help a homeowner take the next step.
Tell us about yourselfIf you have sold solar, you know there is more to the job than a pitch. You have explained unfamiliar paperwork, answered difficult questions and earned someone's trust at their kitchen table. Those skills still matter when the conversation changes from buying solar to figuring out what went wrong.
Maybe you have dealt with delayed commissions, changing company priorities or one too many trips away from home. Maybe you simply want your next chapter in sales to feel more useful. Whatever brought you here, we would like to hear your story.
Solar Exit Hawaii advocates for homeowners whose solar experience has not matched what they were promised. We help people facing confusing agreements, payment concerns or unresolved problems gather information for review and understand the next step. Your role starts with listening and explaining that process clearly.
The concern that opens a conversation may not be the homeowner's biggest question. Listen closely and ask what they most want to understand before moving ahead.
You may have helped people navigate unfamiliar products or services. Tell us how you earned their attention, answered honestly and kept the conversation comfortable.
If this work interests you personally, we would like to know why. If you are bringing a team, introduce the people and experience behind that interest.
Hawaiian Electric's Smart Renewable Energy Export program publishes credits that differ by island and time of day. A conversation about what solar 'pays' therefore needs more context than a statewide average. This particular program is a Hawaiian Electric offering, not a description of every utility or every existing solar customer in Hawaii.
A homeowner might have been shown an estimate that is difficult to reconcile with current bills or a system that includes storage. Begin with the island, utility and enrolled program, then ask what the proposal said and what the household is experiencing. Do not assume that another customer's arrangement explains theirs.
Solar Exit Hawaii welcomes representatives who understand the importance of local relationships and careful listening. You can help a homeowner organize the concern and request a review while leaving equipment recommendations and technical calculations to the appropriate specialists. Respect for the person matters throughout that process.
Tell us which island and communities you would represent, whether your experience is on Oahu, Maui, Hawaii Island or Kauai. We want to understand your actual relationships and availability rather than assume one representative covers every island. Listening well is the starting point.

We are interested in people who communicate clearly, follow up thoughtfully and care about doing right by the customer. Solar experience is useful, but it is not the only background worth bringing. If you are new to this kind of work, tell us why it interests you.
This starts with an introduction, not a lengthy application. Share a few details below and someone from our team will reach out to learn more about you and answer your questions.
We expect honest representation, respect for the homeowner’s decision and clear explanations of our service. Representatives do not provide legal advice or promise a cancellation, refund or other outcome.
